This large bunker at Bunkercomplex Overvoorde is referred to as type S.K. This means that the bunker was not a standard design and therefore probably designed for this location. The bunker contained the command post of a secret Luftwaffe interception unit that intercepted messages to and from England in particular. This bunker may have played an important role in the so-called Englandspiel. A small exhibition has been set up in the bunker about the resistance around Overvoorde.
Please note!: This bunker is dusty inside. Due to the stairs and thresholds, the bunker is not easily accessible for wheelchair users and people with walking difficulties.
