All ammunition for the weapons of the complex were stored in this bombproof munitions bunker. The ammunition was contained in wooden and metal boxes, which were placed in racks. The bunker was equipped with armored doors and a ventilation system.
A special detail of this bunker are the two adapted entrances to the vestibule. The entrances also feature beautiful masonry staircases. At the entrances of the ammunition bunker you can still find a nice camouflage and also a ST sign. ST stands for Ständiger, a bunker with walls of at least two meters thick, which was therefore considered ‘bomb-proof’. The different types of ammunition stored here were:
- 7.5cm pack 38.97(f) – until February 1944
- 3.7cm pack 36 – from February 1944
- 7.5 mm for the 2 machine gun 311(f) – 1 for the 2 Tobrukbunkers and 1 for the leichte panzerdrehturm.
- 7.9 mm for the mg34 – for the anti-aircraft mg
- 7.9mm for the K98 carbine
- 9mm for the pistols
- Steel hand grenades
- Light flares/light signals
- Various landmines
