Re-enactment A re-enactment group will be present on the site, portraying Dutch commandos.
This Dutch group depicts a German conscript regiment from the 1940s. These were not the ‘tough guys’ or serious fanatics but often ordinary average men who had to serve, whether they wanted to or not.
At 11:00 am a battle will take place between the 48th Highlanders of Canada and the Volksgrenadiere, in the dunes at Bunkermuseum Jansje Schong.
