Walk along the bunkers of Schiermonnikoog

Join us on a promenade through this beautiful nature reserve and visit bunkers that are normally inaccessible. You can also see trenches, FLAKs and other remains of the Atlantic Wall. The tour starts with 8 participants at Bunkermuseum Schei.

Wassermann bunker

The Germans built a bunker on the highest dune on the island for a radar. A radar system (the ‘Wassermann’) was to be installed on top of the bunker, constructed from a steel cylinder, approximately 40 meters high.
