Of the fortifications built on Vlieland, Wn 12H is the only one that has been preserved; the others were demolished or ended up on the beach due to dune erosion. For a long time, the entire complex was hidden under the dune sand, but thanks to the efforts of many volunteers, the bunkers and trenches have been excavated and restored.
Bunker Museum Wn 12H is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Opening hours may vary during school holidays. Group visits outside regular opening hours are possible by arrangement.
