In the extension of the Savornin Lohmanlaan was a bunker complex that was designated by the Germansas Widerstandsnest 66 HM (Mammut Gerät Kijkduin).Centrally located here was a radar post of the Kriegsmarine that had the tactical name Anton. There was already a radar installation on the high dune in1941, presumably the forerunner of the later Mammutradar installation. This bunker was given the name Erika.
