This bunker, type Kuver 467, housed the ‘Hauptfeldwebel’ during the Seconds World War. This was a non-commissioned officer with administrative duties. An exhibition about paravanes has recently opened in the bunker. These were torpedo-like devices used to cut the anchor cable of a naval mine. They are still found on the North Sea beach of Terschelling after a heavy storm.
