This G23 anti-aircraft weapons bunker is also known as the Sleuterbunker type L410A. Besides this one on Terschelling, only one other similar bunker exists in Den Helder. The bunker’s crew consisted of a commanding officer, 6 other officers and 9 soldiers. Its walls are made of 2-metre thick reinforced concrete and there is an artillery post on top.
The bunker is currently equipped much as it was during the war. The munitions depot contains various ammunition crates and the commanding officer’s quarters are furnished. Guided tours are available on Bunker Day.
