Demonstration Zendamateurs (Communicatiebunker 618)

During Bunker Day, amateur radio operators will demonstrate the role of radio communications and their strategic importance using various transmitters and receivers.

Special connections will also be made with amateur radio operators in other bunkers, both within and outside the Netherlands.

Visitors can see the equipment used during the Second World War and the Cold War. Additionally, they can learn about various communication codes and methods, such as Morse code.

At various locations, children can signal their own names in Morse code.
