The information panels “Battle of the Sloedam” in Arnemuiden commemorate the battles fought here in 1940 and 1944 between the occupiers and the Allies.
The panels consist of two wooden-framed boards, mounted on a red brick wall. Both panels display maps showing troop movements. They provide detailed accounts in both Dutch and English about the fierce battles fought here in 1940 and 1944 between the occupiers and the Allies. Three monuments also commemorate the fighting at the Sloedam.
