During Bunker Day, there are various activities on the grounds of the Biberbunker Oostvoorne.
1. Guided Tour
Guided tours take place every fifteen minutes. They explain in a fascinating way how the Biberbunker functioned and what it was used for. The two smaller bunkers, 424 and 409, are also open. A faithful Seeburg Table can be seen in the 424. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour. The last tour starts at 15:30.
2. Exhibition
In the Biberbunker, an exhibition has been set up with the theme of the US 8th Air Force. This American bomber fleet, which was active over occupied Europe from 1942 to 1945, is brought to life through a photo exhibition, military artifacts, and mannequins wearing air force uniforms from that era.
3. Lecture on US Air Force
There is a lecture about the US Air Force inside the Biberbunker.
4. Re-enactment
Re-enactors are present to make the experience even more realistic. A general purpose tent with catering is available on the grounds.
