Bunkerexcursion: ‘Hidden bunkers’
The excursion ‘Hidden bunkers’ takes you past various bunkers on West-Ameland. Accompanied by the guide, you will discover the special World War II history on Ameland. A beautiful bike ride full of special stories and facts. During the excursion you can visit the bunkers.
Starting times: 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00hr. Collect at Bunker Museum Ameland. Bring your bike!
Warstories Told!
Various war stories are told in the Bunker museum. The stories are continuous in the Bunker museum between 13:30 and 16:30 pm.
Re-enactment
The Kriegsmarine (the German naval force from 1935 – 1945) will be re-enacted during Bunker Day and tours are facilitated in a military car. For children there are various games to play.
